Tibetan Buddhist Lama, Chant Master & Healer
Lama Tendar is a Buddhist monk and teacher from Kham, Eastern Tibet. He became a monk at the age of 12 and studied in the Gyuto monastery in Lhasa for 7 years and then trained in India for a further 14 years.
Lama Tendar is a teacher of deep tantric meditation, tantric art and is a Chant Master from his monastery. He is the founding spiritual director of the Medicine Buddha Tantrayana Meditation Centre, the Tibetan Children’s Fund and the Shantideva Buddhist Foundation Ltd. Lama Tendar travels across Australia to teach Buddhism, meditation, perform blessing ceremonies and healing. In 2015 he was the Chant Master for His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s Australian tour in the Blue Mountains and Brisbane.
